Some theories on HGH Decline in Humans

Human Growth Hormone decreases significantly after the age of about 25 to 30 and again during the age range of 35 to 45. Scientists do not know the exact reason why persons over the age 25 to 30, and 35 to 45 tend to incur such a significant decrease in HGH growth hormone secretion from the pituitary gland, but the result of decreased HGH is thought to cause the symptoms of ageing, andropause or disease. The decrease in human growth hormone is considered to be deficiency or a variable in the human aging equation, this has been stated by many doctors practicing age management and hormone replacement therapy.

Pituitary Gland Functional Later in Life

Some medical research has revealed that the aging pituitary somatotroph cells can still secrete as much growth hormone as the young somatotrophs cells if they are properly and adequately stimulated. As a result some researchers have come up with several theories regarding human aging resulting from HGH related deficiency.

Regardless of natural deficiencies, adults over the age of 30 can use HGH or Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone Replacement Therapy to replace deficient levels.
