Chemical Pollution Is Destroying Masculinity
"A host of common chemicals is feminizing males of every class of vertebrate animals, from fish to mammals, including people. Many have been identified as 'endocrine disruptors' or gender-benders because they interfere with hormones. Communities heavily polluted with gender-benders in Canada, Russia, and Italy have given birth to twice as many girls as boys, which may offer a clue to the mysterious shift in sex ratios worldwide. And a study at Rotterdam's Erasmus University showed that boys whose mothers had been exposed to PCBs grew up wanting to play with dolls and tea sets rather than with traditionally male toys. It also follows hard on the heels of new American research which shows that baby boys born to women exposed to widespread chemicals in pregnancy are born with smaller penises and feminized genitals. It is calculated that 250,000 babies who would have been boys have been born as girls instead in the US and Japan alone. And sperm counts are dropping precipitously. Studies in more than 20 countries have shown that they have dropped from 150 million per milliliter of sperm fluid to 60 million over 50 years."

Calculated dose aids weight loss in obese patients, study finds

ST. LOUIS, USA — A controlled dose of growth hormone may help people who are obese lose weight and maintain the energy to exercise, new research at Saint Louis University shows.

Stewart Albert, M.D., professor of internal medicine in the division of endocrinology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and Arshag Mooradian, M.D., chair of the division of endocrinology at Saint Louis University, presented their findings at ENDO 2003, the 85th Annual Meeting of The Endocrine Society, which took place in Philadelphia from June 19-22.

Human growth hormone after surgery?
Richard Hodin | M.D., Harvard Health Letters
    November 11, 2008

Question: I heard human growth hormone can help people after surgery. Is that true?

Answer: The human growth hormone (HGH) that athletes take because they believe it helps them recover from injuries has been used successfully in burn patients for a number of years.

The healing process from a severe burn can sometimes put the body into a hypermetabolic state that ends up tearing down muscle and other tissue. In those circumstances, injections of HGH can reverse the destructive (catabolic) processes and promote constructive (anabolic) ones.

Short children can gain inches with growth hormone
Many fathers whose parenting skills are temporarily reaching exhaustion tell their children to grow up - but they usually don't mean it literally.

Now, scientists suggest that children who are abnormally short may just have the opportunity to do so.

Previous research found that growth hormone (GH) could successfully add inches to the adult height of those who are born with a deficiency in GH.

Low testosterone affects a third of young men with type 2 diabetes
New research has revealed that approximately one third of men aged 18-35 with type 2 diabetes have low testosterone levels.

Dr. Paresh Dandona and colleagues from the State University of New York at Buffalo measured circulating testosterone levels in 38 men with type 1 diabetes and 24 men with type 2 diabetes. Results showed that testosterone levels were significantly lower in participants with type 2 diabetes than they were in men with type 1 diabetes. 33% of participants with type 2 diabetes were found to have low testosterone levels, whilst 58% had testosterone levels that were below normal for their age. In comparison, just 8% type 1 diabetic patients had testosterone levels below the lower limit of normal.

L-Carnitine: Improves Cognitive Function in Centenarians

L-Carnitine reduces physical and mental fatigue, improves cognitive function in centenarians

A report published in the December, 2007 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition described the results of a study conducted by Italian researchers which found a positive effect for L-carnitine (levo-carnitine) on energy levels and cognitive function in individuals 100 years of age and older. The age-related decline in L-carnitine, which plays a role in cellular energy metabolism, could be involved in the fatigue experienced by many older individuals.

Flax Seed Oil: Longevity and Anti-Aging Medicine
"Wherever flaxseed becomes a regular food item among the people, there will be better health", said Mahatma Gandhi. He was right. The true nature of flax as a health food has been known for centuries. In the 8th Century, Charlemagne considered flax so essential for health that he actually passed laws requiring its use. Flax was one of the original medicines, used by Hippocrates himself.

HGH Sprays (Scam): What is a NanoGram? The Quantity of a Nano Gram
What is a Nanogram, the quantities in HGH Sprays (Scams)

A Nanogram is 1 billionth of a gram. So the 10 to 400 nanograms of growth hormone claimed by various HGH Spray companies are, in fact, very close to nothing.

HGH Sprays are scams, and it truly amazes me how many companies are still selling them on the Internet.

HGH Sprays are a placebo at best.
